The Rotary Club of Menlo Park is proud to announce $41,000 in Community Gift Grants awarded to 23 nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving those in need throughout the local community. Funded through a combination of $35,000 from the Menlo Rotary Community Foundation and $6,000 from the Club, the grants reflect the Club's 2026 Giving Focus: supporting seniors and youth facing food or housing insecurity, and advancing education.
"In our community, there are countless individuals and organizations quietly doing the hard work of making life better for those around them," said Amy Boggs, President-Elect and grants committee chair. This year, the committee — comprising Rotarians Sylvia Bambra, Eric Glader, Steve Milender, HsinLing Tsai, and co-chair Rob Holyoake — reviewed more applications than ever before. In an effort to extend our reach, grants were awarded to both returning and first-time recipients:
