The Menlo Park Rotary Club is excited to be offering financial grants to the 2010 graduating class of their local high schools.
General Grants
This year several general grants will be awarded to students who display outstanding leadership, who demonstrate academic excellence, who exemplify the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self,” and who furnishes evidence of financial need.
The Tsui / Tsiang Family Grant
Awarded to a female candidate who intends to pursue a field of study in Math & Science. The grant will be awarded to a candidate who displays outstanding leadership, who demonstrates academic excellence, who exemplifies the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self,” and who furnishes evidence of financial need.
The Drue Kataoka Arts Grant
Awarded to a student displaying commitment to pursuing a career in the Arts, outstanding record of creative accomplishments, and dedication to serving the community through art. Cash award is accompanied by mentorship from Drue. Please contact her directly with questions at: drue@drue.net. Applications for grants will be available at the college counselors’ offices at the following schools by February 2010.
