Who We Are
The Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID #94-2723876).  All members of the Rotary Club of Menlo Park are members of the Foundation, and only members of the Rotary Club of Menlo Park may be members of the Foundation.
For FY 2017-18, the Foundation consists of the following leadership:

What The Foundation Does
The Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation was established in 1981 with $5,000. Through donations and careful stewardship, the Foundation has grown to $3,000,000, and supports three endowments funds: Scholarships; Community Service; and International Projects.
The Foundation has awarded, to local students:
*over $1,800,000 in four-year scholarships since inception
*approximately $145,000 in community college scholarships since inception
In FY 2017-18 an estimated $125,000 will be available in local scholarships.
Community Service:  Gifts Committee for Local Grants
Annually the Foundation awards approximately $25,000 in grants to local non-prof groups to assist them in providing support to underserved groups in our local community.  Recent recipients include, among others, CASA, ALearn, Eastside College Prep, Menlo-Atherton Robotics Team, Ravenswood Education Foundation, and Environmental Volunteers.
Additionally, approximately $20,000 is raised annually from the Club and Foundation's Tour de Menlo Bike Ride.  These funds awarded through the Almanac Holiday Fund to effective and efficient local non-profit groups.  In 2017 grants were given to Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, Ecumenical Hunger Program, Fair Oaks Community Center, Health Connected, Second Harvest Food Bank, Life Moves, Project Read-Menlo Park Literacy Partners, Ravenswood Family Health Center, Sequoia Adult School Scholars, and St. Anthony' Padua Dining room, and StarVista.
Tour de Menlo Bike Ride
The Foundation holds an annual Tour de Menlo Bike Ride fundraiser, from which approximately $20,000 was granted to the Almanac Holiday Fund.  Grant recipients for 2017 are listed above under Community Service.  Click here for information about the Tour de Menlo Bike Ride.
International Projects
The newest endowment fund for the Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation is for international projects.  The Foundation is holding fundraisers and taking donations for this fund, so that projects can be supported in the future. Please check back periodically for updates on International Projects.
